Opportunities
Out-Licensing
For high-priority, high-value programmes, Syntaxin will advance its drug candidates through formal preclinical studies and human clinical studies to demonstrate clinical proof-of-concept. At that stage, drug candidates will have reached an inflection point in value for co-development with a partner, and license partners will be sought.
For other programmes - in particular those that address broad primary care or distributed promotional markets - Syntaxin plans to partner at an earlier stage, usually at preclinical proof-of-concept.
In-Licensing
An important and priority driver of value for Syntaxin is to enter into early stage collaborations aimed at creating novel biological entities (NBEs) in new disease areas, such as proliferative diseases and cancer.
These collaborations will seek to combine Syntaxin’s unique technology platform with that of a partner’s. For example, Syntaxin is seeking to access novel targeting moieties such as antibody fragments or scaffold proteins and combine them with Syntaxin’s proprietary TSI technology.
Key Opportunity
Syntaxin is seeking partnerships with companies with novel antibody fragments or antibody-like scaffold targeting technologies to develop selective targeting of one of its TSI endocrine programmes in early research.
